Despite its reputation as a somewhat traditional spirit, Scotch whisky offers incredible diversity of flavour, with single malts and blends ranging from elegant, floral expressions to rich, fruity and chocolatey drams.

The first commercial release from sustainable distillery Nc’nean is made using 100% organic malted barley and comes in a beautifully designed, recycled glass bottle. Furthermore, the distillery, located on the west coast of Scotland, is 100% powered by renewable energy. This signature release has been matured in a combination of American oak and red wine casks that develop Nc’nean’s signature full-bodied sweetness. You could say this is a whisky that makes a big impression with a small footprint.

Serving Suggestions: Nc’nean’s signature serve is in a Highball, with two parts whisky to four parts soda water poured over plenty of ice and topped with a sprig of mint to garnish.

Tasting Notes

A light, sweet and fruity whisky with delicate aromas of lemon posset, desiccated coconut and creamy white chocolate. The fruit really emerges in the mouth though as peach, apricot and lemon zest with crème anglaise and generously buttered, toasted rye bread.
